Purpose: To report the first case of hydrogel sealant to prevent the recurrence of epithelial ingrowth in a LASIK flap buttonhole. Observations: A 67-year-old female presented ten years after undergoing bilateral LASIK with diffuse lamellar keratitis and flap dislodgement after blunt trauma to the right eye.
